Projects Overview

Ausgold strives to undertake low cost exploration that delivers high value discovery, with a primary focus on Australia’s most exciting, underexplored greenstone belt, Katanning in Western Australia.

Whilst developing the Katanning Gold Project is Ausgold’s #1 priority, the Company has three other exploration projects located in highly prospective mineral belts elsewhere in WA and Queensland:

  • Doolgunna Station (Western Australia, 100% interest)
Covers 176km2 with copper-gold Volcanic Hosted Massive Sulphide (VHMS) targets in the Narracoota Volcanics west along strike from Sandfire Resources’ Degrussa deposit.
  • Yamarna (Western Australia, 100% interest)
300km2 of prospective ground within the Yamarna greenstone belt, limited drilling has identified Ni-Cu-Co mineralization and several untested VTEM anomalies exist.
  • Cracow (Queensland, 100% interest)
200 km2 of prospective ground over the Camboon Volcanics with native copper associated with highly altered, with rock chip samples having grades up to 1.8% Cu and 5.5 g/t Ag located north of Evolution Mining’s Cracow deposit.

Ausgold continues to advance these projects with low cost targeted exploration.
