Resource Extensions

Ausgold has recently identified Resource extensions at the KGP Central zone as outlined below:

  • Jinkas North - 850 metre gap in drilling along strike high grade Jinkas lode coincident geophysical (Fixed Loop EM, gravity and magnetic) and geochemical anomalies
  • Jinkas South – high grade mineralisation intersected over 450m, remains open along strike and DHEM targets identified
  • Depth potential Resource currently restricted to 170m
  • Jinkas South - high-grade lode remains open along strike, recent drilling extends to 350m
  • Jinkas North - 850 metre gap north along strike from high-grade Jinkas lode with coincident geochemical and geophysical anomalies – a prime target to add ounces with a recent Western Australian Exploration Incentive Scheme co-funding received.

Potential along strike

  • Rifle Range – untested potential between known Resource areas

Lukin – Gold mineralisation intersected in AC drilling over 6km along strike to the south of Dingo

Central Zone Resource Extensions

The current Mineral Resource remains open both along strike and down-dip, and optimisation work indicates that the conceptual open pits are largely constrained by the limit of drill data. Exploration targets are outlined in ASX Release (26 November 2018) as well as additional extensional drilling within the Central Zone.

A comprehensive review is in progress to determine the potential Resource upside and the amount of drilling required to confirm this opportunity. High-grade gold targets have been identified at Jinkas South and Jackson which have the potential to add to the size and grade of the KGP Resource.

  • Open along strike to north and south
  • DHEM targets highlight sulphide rich zones representing potential Resource extensions
  • New high-grade discovery – parallel to the Jinkas ore body is the South lode intersected over a 350m strike length and remains open.
  • Jinkas North a gap in drilling extending over 850m new drilling planned to test this area
