Projects Overview

Ausgold continues to utilise cutting edge geoscience to explore for gold and copper ore bodies in Australia.

Following an Australia wide prospectivity study for gold and copper in collaboration with the Centre for Exploration Targeting, Ausgold identified and acquired a portfolio of projects in prospective and underexplored regions of Australia.

A major gold discovery has been made at Katanning in Western Australia together with the discovery of a new Archean greenstone belt 200 kilometres in length surrounding the discovery.

In addition to this major new discovery, a discovery of nickel and copper has been made at Yamarna in Western Australia, and an excellent epithermal gold target has been identified at Cracow in Queensland.  Ausgold also holds highly prospective ground adjacent to Sandfire Resources’ De Grussa Copper and Gold project in Western Australia.
